Standards

Editorial policy

How articles here are researched, checked, corrected and updated.

Sourcing

Claims about how a tool behaves are sourced from the provider''s own current documentation, with the version and date we checked recorded in the article. Research claims cite the published work. We do not cite summaries of summaries.

What we do not do

  • We do not describe hands-on testing we have not performed.
  • We do not invent benchmarks, statistics, screenshots or quotations.
  • We do not publish "best tool" rankings without a stated method and evidence.
  • We do not backdate or artificially refresh publication dates.

Verification before publishing

Every article is checked by a person before it becomes public: facts against sources, links resolved, examples labelled as illustrative where they are hypothetical, image rights confirmed, and author attribution correct. An article that fails any of these stays unpublished. Drafts are private and are not indexed.
