If you have an hour
- Understand the mechanism. How large language models produce answers, and why confident errors are a normal outcome rather than a rare bug.
- Learn to instruct. How context and constraints turn a vague request into a clear task.
- Learn to check. A short routine for judging whether an answer is accurate and whether it is useful — two separate questions.
If you want a habit, not a hack
Pick one recurring task you already do — summarising a document, replying to routine email, drafting a study plan — and work through the matching article in Practical Workflows. Each one includes the checking step, because that is the part people skip.
