Privacy policy

Owner action required before launch. This page must be reviewed against the site''s actual configuration, and the operating entity and contact address must be filled in. We make no claim of compliance with any particular data protection law here; that assessment depends on the final setup and needs the owner''s review.

Current configuration

At the time of writing:

• Analytics: not enabled.
• Advertising: not enabled. No advertising scripts are loaded and no ad requests are made.
• Accounts: readers do not need an account. Sign-in exists only for the site''s own editorial staff.

If advertising or analytics is switched on later, this page will be updated first to name the vendors involved, what they receive, and the choices available to you.

What we collect now

Contact form. The name, email address, subject and message you submit, so we can reply. Stored in our own database and visible only to editorial staff.

Newsletter. Not currently offered. If it is, the signup will name the provider and record your consent at the point of subscription, and every email will carry an unsubscribe link.

Server logs. Our hosting provider processes standard request information, including IP address, to serve and secure the site.

What we do not do

• We do not send your form submissions or full search queries to analytics tools.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not create reader profiles for advertising while advertising is disabled.

Retention

Contact messages are kept while they are relevant to answering you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.

Your choices and contact

To request access to or deletion of a message you sent us, use the contact route on this site. Where consent controls apply to advertising or analytics, they will be reachable from the footer and will allow withdrawal as well as acceptance.

Third-party advertising (not yet active)

Before any Google advertising is enabled, this section will be replaced with an accurate description of the advertising technologies in use, what Google does with the data it receives, links to Google''s own disclosures, and the choices available to you — including a certified consent management platform for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. It is not accurate to promise that data is never shared once advertising or analytics vendors are involved, and we will not make that promise.
